There’s a misconception about scattered, forgetful people. They’re often tagged as lacking focus, distant, and even rude for not paying attention. But the opposite could be true. They might actually be extremely focused – so much so that everything else gets ignored.

I’m sure young people wonder why it says “unleaded” at the gas pump. Bold letters on the pump say, “CONTAINS NO LEAD.”  They must think, “Whoa, that stuff must have been awful.” My mouthwash says “Gluten Free.” That one really throws me, there was wheat in mouthwash? I didn’t know people were getting wheat allergies from gurgling.
