Two Saco & Biddeford Savings employees receive diplomas in banking operations
Saco, MAINE (July13, 2012) – Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution (SBSI), Maine’s oldest bank, is pleased to announce that two of its employees, Bonnie Miller and Donna McGrath, recently received Bank Operation Diplomas from the Northern New England Center for Financial Training (NNECFT).
The NNECFT curriculum offers training in banking fundamentals, including giving graduates a working knowledge of accounting, legal and regulatory aspects of banking, supervision, payment systems, and other key banking operations topics.
“We are extremely proud of Bonnie and Donna for their hard work and dedication. The coursework will enhance their ability to review SBSI’s procedures to ensure the highest level of customer service and quality,” said Alie DiCarlo, NNECFT Instructor and Learning & Development Manager of the Saco-based bank.
Miller has been an employee with SBSI for 28 years and resides in Saco, while McGrath has been with the bank for seven years and resides in Old Orchard Beach.
